Elizabeth Reaser has a career as an American film, television and stage actress. Her most notable roles include The Twilight Saga (film), Greys Anatomy (series) as well as True Detective. Since then she's played minor roles as a character in Peter Pan and Aquamarine. Roman Empire, a Netflix original series from its second season starred her in the role of Cleopatra. The actress also starred in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales, a cult classic. Jessica was picked for the lead character in The Outpost, Talon. The producers received a tape that showed her performing as well as another one in which she performed MMA. Producers requested that she send an MMA video of her swordfighting. On the next day Jessica submitted it. Jessica was able to read the script, and was aware that the character would require the training for weapons. She recorded her first session with a professional after having read the script. Jonathan Glassner stated that they were amazed at Jessica's performance in her initial training session. Jessica was the first American actress to play a major film role, since previous films were made in Australia. The film capitalizes on her passion for action with her mixed martial arts, horse riding weapons, as well as athletic ability that allows her to pull off her tricks and truly portray the powerful female character. In Australia she learnt muay Thai and boxing. When shooting Season 4, Jake Stormoen encountered a dog who was roaming the set. The dogs were occupied on the set. Jessica was the foster mom to two pups.
